Lucky Charms Aren't Just For Leprechauns!

 Hey Crafty Peeps,

Happy St. Patrick's Day.  Are you all wearing green today?

I'm not a fan of green to be honest so I'm wearing orange, but my kids went off to school proudly wearing their new green shirts.

It's been a while since I've coloured anything from The Paper Shelter as I've been concentrating on design team projects and work, but I won some a little while ago and had to have this gorgeous mermaid (The Mermaid and the Treasure).

I love making different types of cards and came across this one on Pinterest. Someone was frustrated with stepper cards always flopping, so they created one that's both a stepper and an easel!

I've kept the mermaid in cool tones, with some pop of warmth in the treasure chest and  surrounding starfish.

I am just loving these mermaid scale gems that were sent to me with a prize. They're perfect to nestle into my 'sea foam' cheesecloth!

Bright Poppy Thanks at Tiddly Inks

 Hello Tiddly Peeps,

Have you seen the new HuggaBugs images yet? They're simply adorable. You can grab them in a set over at the Etsy store, including some fabulous extras.

I have combined Poppy Moth with one of the backgrounds to make a bright card to bring us all some sunshine!

I kept to just a few colours to help the image pop.

I love these sentiment dies that have a background part. I didn't want to have the sentiment stark black or red, so this was a great way to keep within the theme.

Are you in our Facebook Group yet? We have lots of people sharing their makes and you can too!
