Hello Crafty Peeps,
It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and this time we're getting all tied up with Ribbons, String & Lace!
I'm quite addicted to flavoured teas, so I always have boxes and tins saved for upcycling. This tin has a great cardboard outer layer which I thought would make a great holder when turned up the other way.
I have used the wonderful 'Enchanted Rockabilly' on a die-cut oval, missing out the wings so they stick out. I wrapped the holder in pale pink card and used Distress Ink to colour it pink, then added polka dots using a stamp. I finished off with my lacy ribbon and a pink bow.
I accidentally bent the wings when I was rolling the holder round to add the polka dots, so I'm quite sad about that. Hopefully the glitter distracts from it though.
Please come and join in our challenge this week and remember, you can use any image but if you use a Paper Shelter image you are eligible for a higher value prize!
