Winter Blues at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter and this time the theme is Colours Of Winter.

I have used a page from the 'Charming Vintage Teacups' PDF colouring book and coloured it in shades of blue for fairly simple card. I like the contrast of using such cold colours for something that would usually be giving warm vibes!

Thank you for stopping by today. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Please come and join in our challenge this week and remember, you can use any image but if you use a Paper Shelter image you are eligible for a higher value prize!

You can also share your creations over in our Facebook Group.

A Victorian Gothic Birthday at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I'm back with some more inspiration for The Paper Shelter. This week our theme is Fun Folds, so you can use any kind of image or greeting on your card.

I have used a page from the Victorian Gothic Dolls colouring book for a pop-out gatefold card. It is the first time I have made this fold. I had already printed the image, so I had to adjust the measurements a bit to make it fit.

I didn't want a lot of embellishments as I really like the papers. So I kept it simple with lace, gems and some liquid pearls.

The lace was probably a little too close to the folds, so I had to make a new belly band so it would fit the thicker size!

This was the first time I made a card before colouring the image. I kept her duo-chrome to pick out a couple of colours from the papers.

A Very Snowflake Christmas at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I'm here with some inspiration for The Paper Shelter and this week our theme is Stencil It, so grab out those inks and stencils and show us some of your creativity!

I have used 'Snowflake Fairy' for a fairly simple card, keeping the image and stenciling as the main focus.

I love to outline fairy wings in white to make them appear more transparent.

Being a Christmas card with a fairy, I had to give it some sparkles!
