Fire of The Sun(flower)

I love different challenge themes and Aurora Wings have a really good one right now, "The Elements".  I don't think I've seen a challenge use this theme before, but it can be interpreted in many different ways.
I have used the cute 'Sunflower Sprite', which obviously comes from the Earth and I have coloured her to represent Fire.

Product list:
  • Cream card blank
  • Recollections designer paper
  • Graphic 45 patterned paper
  • Black card
  • Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebration Script Words dies
  • Echo Park enamel dot
  • ProMarkers - Sunflower, Tulip, Buttercup, Burnt Orange, Pumpkin, Canary, Lemon, Cardinal, Olive, Moss, Pear, Pine, Berry & Amber

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
  1. Stamps by Aurora Wings - The Elements
  2. Cute Card Thursday - #491 Fun in the Sun!
  3. I ♥ ProMarkers  - #341 Summer
  4. Your Scrapbook Place - August Anything Goes
  5. Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #64 Anything Goes

  1. Brilliant interpretation of the theme using two elements for inspiration, Nicola! Gorgeous coloring on Sunflower Sprite. The petals do look like flames.

  4. You really captured the vibrant energy of fire and the sun this flower represents with your awesome coloring and design, Nicola! One of my favorite sunflowers in my garden has the burned orange/burgundy color just like how you colored this Sprite. They're gorgeous alone, but also spectacular among other hot colors of yellow and orange. Thank you for this lovely entry in our Elements challenge at AW. Mitzi xx
