Colour It! at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

We had a great vacation but now we're back with a new challenge at The Paper Shelter. It's an easy one again to get you back into the swing of things.

All you have to do is Colour It!

I have gone for a CAS design again to highlight the coloured image and I used the versatile 'Unlocked'. This can be used for many occasions but I have chosen to make a wedding card.

My finishing touch is a few clear epoxy hearts.

Falling For Steampunk

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Well the cooler weather is certainly settling in here now, with lots of rain on the forecast. It's a great excuse for crafting though! Krista Smith has an end of summer challenge in her Facebook group right now, so I thought it was about time that I coloured this image that I printed off ages ago ('Steampunk Style' from back in the Saturated Canary days).

Steampunk always make me think of sepia tones, which are very autumnal, so I've kept the whole card with a sepia vibe.

Into The Sunset

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

For this one I am imagining the pirate taking his mermaid love back into the ocean.

I'm definitely still learning when it comes to colouring my own scenes, but I like to do what I get a feeling for rather than trying for actual realism.
