Witchcraft Shadow Box at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for a spooky challenge at The Paper Shelter as we are asking you to make something for Halloween or use Halloween Colours.

I have used 'Witchcraft' to make a fun shadowbox decoration for myself.

I went with both parts of the theme, and created a messy background using markers and Distress Inks

I can never resist some flowers!

Vintage Style at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter and this time we want you to get out those fun patterned papers - 3 Or More Patterned Papers to be precise!

I thought 'Vintage Amy' would be perfect for this, so I coloured her up to match some new papers that I just bought. It's good to use papers from a set if you want them to go together well!

I think these colours really suit her vintage vibe!

Instead of a sentiment, I embossed a 'postage stamp' onto one of the papers. I used a bit of Distress Ink blended over it so the details would stand out a bit more.

High Flyer Evanora at Sweet November Stamps

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Here I am again with one more guest designer creation for the new digital release at Sweet November Stamps.

This time I have a fun flying easel card using 'High Flyer Evanora'. I thought it would be cool to have her suspended so she seems to be actually flying!

It's been a while since I pulled out my Graphic 45 embellishments. It's difficult to use them when you know they're from retired stock! They are perfect for this card though.

I coloured a fairly simple background for her and added some swooshes from the broom. I love how these turned out. 

I used several flower layers to create some dimension.

High Flyer Delphine at Sweet November Stamps

 Hello Crafty Peeps.

I'm back again with another Sweet November Stamps new release digital image.

This time I have used 'High Flyer Delphine' for a layered card. The background is Distress Ink with water sprayed on.

I also added a couple of bats from the 'Frightful Flutterbees' images.

I pictured her doing a spell to get the bats off her broom as it was making her fly badly!

I added to the magic with a white paint pen and some sparkles.

The sentiment looked a little plain, so some gems add to the magical theme here.

High Flyer Bronwyn at Sweet November Stamps

Happy World Cardmaking Day!

I am so delighted to have been asked as a guest designer for the new digital release at Sweet November Stamps this weekend. There are three gorgeous new witches available in the store now and I got to play with all of them. I made three cards. which I will share separately, so not to have too many photos in one post!

The first is 'High Flyer Bronwyn'. I made a slimline card and coloured a scene of her flying through the clouds above a silhouette forest.

I love her sheer sleeves and of course had to make them shimmery!

I added a sentiment to break up the large blank sky area.
