Spring Thank You

Hello Crafty Peeps,
We've had snow and cold for a long time now, so I'm dreaming of spring and warmer weather!
I have cropped a Sweet November Stamps image, "Vintage Spring Ladies: Estelle", to make a simple thank you card.

I added some patterns to her dress and accessories for some extra detail and texture.

Thank you for stopping by today. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

12th Birthday Blog Hop at The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Crafty Peeps!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 12th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part, and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is:

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

I have made a layered birthday card using 'Kittens In The Snow'

So often snowy images get used only for Christmas cards, so I thought it would be good to use one for something different.

Products used:
  • Card blank
  • Coloured cardstock
  • Snowflake corner die-cuts
  • Oval die
  • Stickles - Glisten
  • Posca Paint Pen - White
  • ProMarkers - Cloud Blue, Sky Blue, Satin, Cinnamon, Tan, Dusky Pink, Black, Cool Grey 5, Cool Grey 1-3, Coral, Indigo Blue, Royal Blue, True Blue, Azure, Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Warm Grey 1-3, Holly & Lush Green
  • Prismacolor Pencils - Pink, White & Dark Green

If you've arrived here from Natascha, then you're heading in the right direction!  If not, then you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Patsy.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far!

'Tis The Season

Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's December already and I'm still making Christmas cards! I couldn't resist the cute pixies from Sweet November Stamps. 'Christmas Pixie Chrissy' and 'Christmas Pixie Nicholas' go so well together I think.

I've been doing everything with traditional colours lately, so I wanted to change it up and go for non-traditional this time.

I decided to give them matching outfit colours for a more cohesive theme. I think this is the first time I've used this combo!

Thanks for stopping by today, your kind comments mean the world to me.
