Butterfly Smiles & Forest Gifts

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

I recently won some clear stamps from the new release celebration at Sweet November Stamps and Crafty Purple Frog, so I couldn't wait to play with them.

First is 'Flutterbee Tullia', which comes with the sentiment and lots of butterflies. This is a small 4.25"x5.5" top fold card. I really like these for quick makes.

Next is 'Forest Abode', which comes in two sizes. plus a sentiment. I stamped this straight onto a plain gift bag that I saved for re-using, as that is something not easily done with digital stamps.

I don't have many pencils as I usually just use them for adding finishing touches, but I love how they look on Kraft.

Welcome Baby Dragon at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter is Animals, so that gives you a lot of occasions and themes to play with. I have used 'Newborn Baby Dragon' for a slimline baby card.

I wanted to give the egg shell some texture, so I used embossing powder

I also embossed the die-cut sentiment

A Fairy Fancy Fold at The Paper Shelter

We have such a fun challenge for you at The Paper Shelter this week, as we are asking you to show us a Fancy Fold.

I love trying new folds so had to do something different for this one. Pinterest is a great source of inspiration and this time I chose a diagonal gate fold card using 'Follow Me On Fairybook'. 

I wasn't sure if this card would actually stand up okay when I was making it, but it does and it looks super cool too!

Dancing With Rainbows

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Sweet November Stamps recently had a digital stamp release entitled "So Enchanting" and I'm a total sucker for mythical creatures, so I had to grab 'Sky Dancer'!

I imagined her dancing in the clouds with a rainbow in the background, so I started off by creating a sky full of clouds using inks and a stencil, then added a die-cut rainbow.

Of course I had to add some shimmer to her mane!
