Christmas Cheer

It's been a long time since I used a Ching-Chou Kuik image, so I figured Christmas would be the perfect time to break out some old favourites. 'Poinsettia Fairy' is from a set of 4 Christmas images that you can grab in the CCK Etsy store.

I have made my first reverse easel for this image. I love making easel cards, so it's quite a surprise that I've never made this style before.

I kept everything monochromatic in different shades of red to play on the poinsettia colours.

The sentiment is chipboard finished off with some sparkly embossing

Products used:
  • Card blank
  • Cardstock
  • 'Tis The Season paper
  • Paper Poinsettias
  • Liquid Pearls - Brass
  • MIC Chipboard sentiments
  • Ranger embossing powder - African Gold
  • ProMarkers - Cinnamon, Tan, Dusky Pink, Satin, Mint Green, Pastel Green, Sunflower, Gold, Holly, Lush Green, Green, Cocoa, Saddle Brown, Black, Burgundy, Poppy, Cardinal, Berry Red, Red, Lipstick Red, Shale, Raw Sienna & Primrose
  • Prismacolor Pencils - Tuscan Red, Crimson Red, Dark Brown, Pumpkin Orange, Light Peach, Light Umber, Peach
  • Sakura Gelly Roll - Metallic Gold & Metallic Silver
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
