Hello Crafty Peeps,
We have a special challenge for you at The Paper Shelter this week as we are celebrating the birthday of Mickey Mouse.
First appearing on Steamboat Willie on the 18th November 1928, Mickey Mouse has remained a global favourite and become a legend in his own right. Undergoing some appearance changes over the years Mickey is still looking good for his years and his popularity never wanes! Did you know the first ever version of the lovable character was actually called Mortimer and only for Walt Disney’s wife Lillian did he get re-branded with his new moniker, Mickey
For my birthday card I have used 'Harlequin' as I think this image works perfectly with the colour scheme. I have also added some yellow to represent the bright lights of the circus and because Mickey's buttons are yellow.
- Card blank
- Coloured cardstock
- Sentiment die
- Gems
- ProMarkers - Cool Grey 1-3, Lipstick Red, Carmine, Red, Black, Cool Grey 5, Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Yellow, Sunflower, Gold, Amber, Pumpkin, Baby Pink, Hot Pink, Soft Lime, Lemon, Buttercup, Canary & Primrose
Fabulous image and colouring -such a striking design! Thanks for joining in at Crafty Calendar this month.
