Salty Kisses at Tiddly Inks

We're into the last week of MerMay so I am sharing one last design team inspiration featuring our magical friends.  'Salty Kisses' is a fabulous set of two mermaids that comes with some extra images and a few sentiments.

I have kept my card fairly simple, leaving the white background and just adding some inked edges and 'bubbles'.

I love the choice of sentiments with these images. I chose this rounded one as it fit my bubble theme perfectly.

I added some 3D gloss to some leftover die-cut circles to create my bubbles.

Please be sure to join us on Facebook for all the latest Tiddly news and inspiration from the team.

You are Strange and Wonderful at Faery Ink

Hello Crafty Peeps! MerMay is upon us and I am bringing you inspiration using a brand new image from Faery Ink, 'The Mermaid and the Narwhal'.  Isn't he the cutest!?  I haven't coloured a narwhal before but as it is a pretty simple image, I decided to go for the no-lines technique.  You can find all the info and more photos on my post here.

Batty Birthday at Tiddly Inks

It may be spring, but I love to be different and I'm sure many other people out there would be happy to have Halloween all year round too.  At Tiddly Inks, Christy loves a bit of something different too so has been offering this fun 'Batty Birthday' image as a freebie with all purchases of the new Rook images. Fun fact: Rook has actually been drawn by Christy's daughter! What a fabulous upcoming artist. You can find them all in the Gothic and Cute section of the Etsy store.

'Batty Birthday' doesn't need a lot of embellishing, so I've kept to a CAS layered card with just a few sequins.

Products used:
  • Card blank
  • Coloured card
  • Sequins
  • ProMarkers - Black, Cool Grey 1, 2, 4 & 5, Sunkissed Pink, Red, Lush Green, Amber, Yellow, Soft Lime, Bright Green, Champagne, Duck Egg, Cool Aqua, Walnut, Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Caramel, Sandstone, Crimson, Poppy, Warm Grey 1 & 2
  • Prismacolor Pencils - Dark Brown & White
