Over The Hill at The Paper Shelter

Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter Blog, and as always we are ANYTHING GOES with an optional theme should you prefer a bit more direction.

The theme this week is THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS. You know you've seen Mary Poppins when you can't see that without singing it, haha.

I have used "A Beauty To Die For" for  a fun birthday card.

Favourite things I have used - purple, humour, bats, Halloween images and my Cricut.

I cut the word UNDER through all layers so it would be deeper into the "hill".

I couldn't resist adding a funny joke about age inside!

The Beauty of Winter at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's time for another challenge at The Paper Shelter Blog, and this time we have a Winter Mood Board for you. This is optional, so you can always play Anything Goes if you prefer.

I have used page 22 from the Glamour Gowns Colouring Book for a shaker card in winter blues, with white and silver accents.

There are many gorgeous gowns to choose from and dress up as you please!

I started with the background, blending Distress Inks over the whole card, before adding Lunar Paste through a stencil. I finished off with some puff paint and sparkly spray.

For the shaker, I used a cello bag to cover the whole card, before adding sequins and other filler.

I cut vinyl for the sentiment, as it's a lot easier than using cardstock for this type of sentiment.

I also added a few snowflakes to the inside of the card.
