Coffee & Cake at The Paper Shelter

Hello Crafty Peeps,

I'm back again with some more inspiration for The Paper Shelter and this week we are asking you to share Something You Love.

There's so many options to choose from on the website, but I stopped at 'Pixie Caramel Macchiato' for this challenge as it's so perfect for me,

My husband and I have always loved going out for coffee and cake, and Caramel Macchiato is one of my favourite drinks to order from Starbucks!

I kept the image in earth tones to match my paper.

My amazing friend, Susan, made me these coffee bean embellishments out of Fimo clay.

Thank you for stopping by today. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Please come and join in our challenge this week and remember, you can use any image but if you use a Paper Shelter image you are eligible for a higher value prize!

You can also share your creations over in our Facebook Group.

Alluring Thanks

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's another cold and grey day here in Canada, so I'm brightening things up with a CAS card featuring 'Alluring Lily' by Power Poppy..

I gave my card some more interest by embossing the base first.

I used the 'no lines' technique for the Lily.

Thanks for stopping by. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Cold As A Diamond at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

Happy New Year

It's been a wonderful break but we need to get back to business!

This week at The Paper Shelter we are asking you to use Something Cold on your projects. I've already had enough of snow and ice so I went with a different kind of ice, or frosting as some call it!

'Best Friends' is a great image for many occasions, so I have used it for an uplifting card to give a friend.

Of course I had to add a lot of sparkle!

Thank you for stopping by today. Your kind comments are always appreciated.
