Merry Christmoose

I was lucky enough to win a set of Canadian-themed stamps by Frog's Whiskers Ink from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine a few weeks ago, so thought I'd have a play with them.  It's been a while since I did any tapestry stamping so I used these stamps in conjunction with some other stamps I have, to create a Christmas card.  It feels weird to me now making a card without a digital stamp, but I realise how much I love playing with real stamps.
I can never get my writing as nice as I'd like when writing sentiments, but I didn't have anything suitable for this card. I really wanted to to a pun-ny sentiment!

Products used:

  • Cream card blank
  • Papermania snowflake stamps (free from a set in the magazine)
  • See-D's Morsels stamps 'Springtime Collection'
  • Frog's Whiskers Inks stamps 'Maple Leaf' & 'Moose'
  • Whispers inks
  • Black pen

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
  1. Stamping Sensations - August Anything Goes
  2. Power Poppy - Mix and Match
  3. ABC Christmas Challenge - P, Q & R (Quick & Red)
  4. Addicted to CAS - #117 One Layer
  5. A Bit More Time to Craft - #49 Anything Goes

  1. First of all, many congratulations on your win Nicola. It's good to see that you've put the stamps to good use. This card is very pretty and I like the way that the festive red really stands out, and that sentiment works a treat with the image. Thank you for sharing this with us at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x
