I had a little cutting party with my friend a while ago, as she's got some awesome dies that I don't have. There was a big swirl that I'd cut in white and I thought it looked just like a wave. I tried to make it fit in one piece but it was just too big, so I cut it in two. I really like the effect it gave with some Fran~tage to look like sea spray.

How adorable, Nicola! Really love how you've used all the die cuts to build a scene for Summer Sprite and then add a shaker! WooHoo! Honestly, this couldn't be cuter. Thanks so much for joining our Joyous Occasions (again! YAY!) challenge at Aurora Wings. xxD
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun and beautiful birthday card, Nicola! I love the shaker porthole to go with the beautifully colored mermaid, sitting pretty and enjoying the bounty of summer. The swirly die cut is an elegant way to create waves! Thank you for joining us in Ch. 67 at Aurora Wings with another lovely entry! Mitzi xx
ReplyDeleteThis is really great. I love seeing how people have adapted their bits to make them work, and that die-cut works perfectly :)
