100th Inspiration Project at The Paper Shelter

 Hello Crafty Peeps,

It's officially autumn in the northern hemisphere, but thankfully we still have sunshine and some warmth here in the Canadian Prairies!

I'm back with another inspiration project for The Paper Shelter, and it's a special one! I helped out with the challenge (optional) themes, so I shook things up a bit from the usual. This week brings our very first Mood Board for you to play with should you choose. I had to choose Pumpkin Spice to keep on trend for the season. I'm not big on the PSL but I like a pumpkin scone now and then, and I love these autumnal colours.

The other reason this is a special challenge is that it marks my 100th inspiration for The Paper Shelter, so of course I couldn't just make a card.

I have used two images and created a fun layered gift card/ coffee sachet holder using my Cricut. You can find My Big Scarf and Coffee Break 2 in the store.

I found this gift box on Jennifer Maker's website a few months ago, and made the penguin version below. I made the insides coloured and not lit up though.

I used the base pieces and added a table and chairs to the layers, plus a brick wall background, to create a coffee shop within a coffee cup!

I tucked one image behind the chairs and the other standing at the front.

I created a back panel for a sentiment and picture. This also serves to make the back more sturdy.

Here you can see the layers created inside.

I found the sentiment in Cricut images, and added the coffee beans and cups each side to fill out the space left.

The space at the back of the box allows for a gift card and coffee or hot chocolate sachets.

Our challenges are now ANYTHING GOES with an optional theme. Anyone playing the theme will receive DOUBLE ENTRIES towards the weekly prize!!

You can also share your creations over in our Facebook Group.
