Teabag Dispenser at Club KennyK

There's still a couple of days to enter our March challenge over at Club KennyK on Facebook. 

Be sure to properly watermark your creations as per TOU and follow the rules to be eligible to enter and request the challenge freebie, which is 'Texting Friends' this month.

The DT theme this time is 'Anything But A Card' so I have made a teabag dispenser for my friend's birthday.  I pinned one ages ago but hadn't had an excuse to make it until now.  I have used the retro image 'What If?' as I pictured her daydreaming about some tea!

Products I have used to create my gift:

• Papermania cardstock and DP (Love Jesse Edwards Boutique pack)
• Thick cardboard from the back of my Canson card (for the base)
• Collall glue
• 3D foam pads and ribbon from my stash

Birthday Blog Hop with Club KennyK

I have made a colourful card using the retro image 'Drama Queen'. This is such a fun image to colour.  I have added a sentiment using Photoshop as I wanted to continue the whole comic book look. 
To create the card I have gone all-out Papermania, using their Capsule Collection 'Spots & Stripes: Brights' (patterned paper, ribbon, bow & Big Bloomers).  The circles were cut using X-Cut nesting circle dies and I have inked all the edges black with a Whispers ink pad.  The finishing touches are a button and twine in the centre of the flower.

Promarkers I have used are: Burnt Orange, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush, Lipstick, Berry, Crimson, Cobalt Blue, Arctic Blue, Mustard, Gold, Raw Sienna, Pine, Forest, Apple, Aubergine, Plum, Mulberry, True Blue & Sky Blue.

Retro Selfie Frame

As soon as I saw this Retro Selfie image from KennyK Stamps I knew I wanted to make a photo frame. I love using papercraft and cardmaking items for something a little different.  

My husband and I took a few funny selfies last year at our triple-birthday-bbq (he, my daughter and my Dad have birthdays very close together!).  I photoshopped the images first to give a more retro feel and to fit in with my image colouring.
