A Special Birthday at Club KennyK

Being a Guest Designer at Club KennyK right now I have the honour of being part of the birthday celebrations for the man himself!! Yay!

Join in the party over on Facebook for our week-long birthday-themed challenge.  All you need to do is make a birthday creation using a Kenny K image and add it to the challenge album. The grand prize is $25 gift voucher to the KennyK store, plus two other winners will receive 3 digis each. 

I have used two of Kenny's wonderful images to create my birthday card - Tori Famous and Bass Baby.  As you can see from the little picture above, these images are perfect!

The theme this challenge is Anything Goes, so let your imagination fly and pop over to join in the fun.

I have created a shaker card using the same technique as I did for Candy Shop and Sleigh Bells Ring (both have a step-by-step you can follow if you haven't made this type of card before).  It's the first time I've done an offset window and I think it looks really effective.  The design idea came to me whilst I was trying to sleep and it wasn't going to be a shaker, but I remembered I had some Halloween confetti!

September Challenge at Crafts Galore Encore

September already?! Time to start getting up early again and get back into a school routine. Yuk. 

But on the bright side, we have a new challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore.  

This month we are sponsored by Beccy's Place and the theme is Anything Goes. 

I do love an Anything Goes theme as it lets your creativity go wild, but I saw the Strawberry Circle image and knew it would be perfect for some thank you cards I needed to make. I've gone quite clean and simple with these square cards as I think the image and sentiment say it all.
