Ribbons Galore at Ching-Chou Kuik

Live, Laugh, Love at Ching-Chou Kuik

Spring Brights at Ching-Chou Kuik

Candy Cane Gifts

Well I'm still making Christmas things!! I took over as classroom rep for my daughter's pre-school so had to sort out the gift for teacher.  I decided to split the money and get a couple of gift cards so she could treat herself.  

Having just made a couple of gift card holders, what was one more?! I adapted the template to add another flap and create a double holder. It was the perfect use for the new Power Poppy stamp I just bought - 'Candy Cane Classic'. I had to snap this one up as it was only $1 USD!

Gingerbread Gifts

Christmas makes always seem never-ending to me.  Just when I think I'm done, something else comes along!! 
This year money for holidays has been requested, so I thought it would be the perfect thing to use my new Power Poppy 'Gingerbread Family' images. I don't often give gift cards or money but when I do, I like to put them in something pretty. 
I've followed the instructions on the blog to make these and kept them simple. I love using Kraft card and thought the doilies were a perfect match to accent the gingerbread girl and boy.

A Wonderful Delivery

Who can resist an adorable little penguin? Not me, especially when there's a few versions of this image by Conie Fong.  'Snowy Delivering Presents' comes with and without a hat, but for this card I have chosen to go without the hat. 

I've used some gorgeous DP I bought when Michaels had a sale on and I just grabbed a few bits not knowing what I would do with them! I've made a gorgeous girly card with some ribbon and bling.

Five Shades of Grey

If you are expecting something raunchy in this post, sorry to disappoint you with my cunning title! 
This month Kit & Clowder are featuring Mo's Digital Pencil 'Sparkle' image in the monthly class for markers.  I have never used any images from Mo's shop before, so this was a great opportunity for me to try.  I did the class first using the suggested colours of blues and pinks, then decided to step it up a bit and go monochromatic with a punch of colour.  I'm really happy with how this one turned out, so I decided I'd make her into a CAS card.  I've used a cool framing technique that I saw Lucy Gregg on the KennyK DT do to match the colours of the image. (Which is simply to colour a framed edge using one of your markers - genious!).
