Candy Cane Gifts

Well I'm still making Christmas things!! I took over as classroom rep for my daughter's pre-school so had to sort out the gift for teacher.  I decided to split the money and get a couple of gift cards so she could treat herself.  

Having just made a couple of gift card holders, what was one more?! I adapted the template to add another flap and create a double holder. It was the perfect use for the new Power Poppy stamp I just bought - 'Candy Cane Classic'. I had to snap this one up as it was only $1 USD!

Cheery Snow Globe

I printed this image a while ago but then got caught up with DT work and making other cards, so it got left by the wayside.  I still had a couple more Christmas cards to make though so grabbed it out. 
It's actually a couple of images merged together - Little Miss Muffet Stamps 'Mason Jar Snowglobe' and Make It Crafty 'Lamp' (this was actually given as a freebie in the Facebook group, but you can find the same lamp in the image 'Cold By Light'.
The colouring on this is a bit experimental as I was trying for a glitter globe rather than a snow globe. It doesn't look quite so glittery as I'd like, but I'm still pretty happy for a first attempt.

A Krafty Little Tag

I've made a ton of Christmas cards now and I still need to make a few more.  It's never-ending at this time of year! I needed a break from cards and had this gorgeous 'Reindeer Sprite' from Aurora Wings all coloured up, so thought I'd make a tag. 
Usually I would use my tag dies or circular dies for this, but I've got a gorgeous set of fancy dies from Spellbinders and thought they'd make a beautiful tag shape. I've gone pretty simple here to show off the cute image.

Tinkles By Light

Eep, I'm so excited you don't even know.  My wonderful friend, Susan, bought me a Make It Crafty voucher for my birthday so I could get some of their new chippies; well the post being slow as it is, meant I've only just received them after a month of waiting. Thankfully this meant I could get my card finished on time to enter the challenge again. 
I'm definitely going to get more of these chippies as they are so versatile and Zoe has just added even more to the store!!
For my image I combined 'Tinkles' and 'Cold By Light' to create a chilly winter scene. I couldn't resist covering the scene with Fran•táge to the tune of 'Let It Snow' lol.

A Purrfect Christmas

I colour so many people that I wanted a break from skin tones and hair.... well almost a break from hair! I just had to colour up this adorable little kitty from Aurora Wings. Who doesn't love kittens right?! You can find the image 'Kitten In A Stocking' in the shop here.
While I was at it I figured, why not just colour two images at the same time.  I love having matching cards and gift tags, especially at Christmas.

Almost Christmas!

Eek.... I haven't been about for a while.  I am crafting, just haven't had the time to blog.  Well, I'm sure all you crafters know what it's like at this time of year making a million Christmas cards!
I am going to share one very special Christmas card as it's been received now.   This one I made for Alyce and Jon (Kit & Clowder) as my wedding roses never arrived. The wonderful Amanda at Faery Ink even drew me a special image to use. (You can actually get a couple of versions of the image in the shop now, just not with Alyce's cat Lila poking out of the tree!)
